At Swift & Anchor, we’re proud to be a family-run business built on trust, hard work, and genuine care for our customers. Founded by Alex, a proud father of two girls, we were created with a simple promise – to provide reliable, friendly, and affordable removals and clearance services for local households.
We are fully trained in all aspects of house removals, including safe handling, careful packaging, and secure transportation. With over five years of experience, we’ve managed everything from moving valuable antiques to carrying out full house clearances – including sensitive situations such as hoarding or long-neglected properties. Whatever the circumstances, we treat every job with respect, discretion, and understanding, so you’ll never need to feel embarrassed.
Every job is different and comes with its own challenges, which is why problem-solving and adaptability are at the heart of what we do. Our goal is simple: deliver what we promise, work efficiently, and always do our very best to ensure every customer is happy.
Our prices are competitive and transparent, including labour, disposal fees, and all the correct paperwork in line with Environment Agency regulations. We also sort waste carefully and always try to reuse and recycle wherever possible, doing our part for the environment.
Outside of work, family life is central to who we are. We value spending time together outdoors, enjoying walks, and even tackling DIY projects on our boat – and we bring that same hands-on, practical spirit into the way we run Swift & Anchor every day.
